What in the hell are we coming too when our Top Artist are putting out songs titled "Whip it like a Slave"???
As I heard this snippet on the Morning Riot (Chicago, 107.5) I felt like I was in a dream. "Are you serious???"
I just had to call in because this was unbelievable. What is wrong with our babies?? They don't care about themselves, their community, family, history or anything. I am at a loss yall, what do we do when crap like this is at their finger tips and they are being rebellious and not wanting to listen to us help guide them.
He has too much influence over our children to put crap like this out. I really like Wayne's beats, but now I have to tune him out. And yall know that hard when he is everywhere on every station. I was listening to a rock station one night and he was featured on a song. You can't get away from him!!!
But really what can we do to save our babies from a life of ignorance??? Now I am not talking about the ones raised with good, decent parents but the ones without that, the ones on the corners, the ones who mother has to work 2-3 jobs to keep them going and can't spend the time needed to guide that child. What do we do???????
Let's Get It!!!

Do you tune out Dave Chapelle as well? From slave skits to "The Niggar Family", no one spoke about that. Guess what? Slaves were whipped. Surprise! It's not a secret. So what are you talking about. I don't even like Wayne, but it's obvious that there is a double standard going on when ones person makes comedic slaves skits and receives little to no backlash, but someone using "whip it like a slave" as a metaphor gets criticized. I've said this before but I'll say it again: if your kids are bad, it's your fault. And judging from this little article, it's too late to save you're babies from a life of ignorance, it's seems that they were born into it. If you have 2 to 3 jobs, it's because you didn't plan well. Don't make excuses for why you aren't there for your kids when you are the one that opened your legs, without thinking about the future. You doom kids to a life of ignorance, but blame someone else. I'm sure that Wayne was a kid, at one time, as well. But the generation before him dropped the ball. It's not hard to see that. So who's to blame, honestly? If your kids come out bad, you blame Lil Wayne. Well, who do we blame for how Lil Wayne came out? Maybe that's where you should start.
Thank you for your comment, with all that said what is the solution? I am not about the blame, I am trying to figure out the solution.
Because he is not part of the solution he is part of the problem. What Dave did was comedic satire. He was attempting to improve race relations with his whole show. I may not have always come across that way, but that was his goal. What is Wayne trying to do?? Absolutely Nuthin???
Also regarding "our babies", I don't have any personally, but I kids that I volunteer for, kids I meet in church, kids I live across the street from, kids I see on the corners and my own God kids. That is who I am referencing, those babies who have to fend for themselves or who are being raised by other babies (children having children). That's where I am at, how do we help them???
I believe we have to recognize the problem in order to find a solution or this vicious cycle will continue, and it have a huge impact on My future kids and Ms. Moore won't have that!!!!
