Here is my Mom & Pop shop pick

I first had meet the delicious Frappé' Vino at a Shecky's Girls Night out event and fell in love. I purchased 2 parties in the bag and truly enjoyed each of them.

The mixes are easy to follow and almost fool proof. On the first try I used a tad bit too much mayo and didn't like it, but the 2nd batch was perfect. If you plan to buy I would highly suggest the party in the bag to because it's only $20 & you get to try everything. Also pick up an extra bag of the squares, the dip goes a long way.

If you are looking for a gift for me, I will love this and I will def use it!!

Something I read had me to revisit my old MySpace page, which made me look at my old blog. So in remembrance of the old me of loved to write and sketch in hopes that I can bring some of her back here, here are a few of my old pieces which I hope inspires new ones. We I am too, I like to keep up convo's on both but I hate going back and forth. I have tired to us the other programs that combine them but they don't cut the cheese. A friend invited me to join this new social networking site that seems pretty kool. It combines them all and it has better privacy then FB, it takes it back to the old FB days before everybody could watch every step you take...

Its that time again, "Election Time," Now as a active voter its my duty to learn about who is running for office. Now first up is the 5th District Dem. Commissioner Race:

As I begin my google search through articles, blogs and meeting minutes I have learned that I cannot find any information about Mrs. Chamlers-Currin. I do know that she is a Trustee for Matteson and Former President for Illinois Fire and Police Commissioners Assn. As I have conducted my research I also see that she is beginning her campaign on untruths. On her site it states that she is " Endorsed by Chicago Tribune," When you view the Tribune site for their endorsements her name is not highlighted. Their site states "The Tribune editorial board has not yet endorsed a Democratic party candidate for Cook County Board 5th District."

1. Lied about endorsements (Big one for me)
2. Serve as Trustee for Matteson
3. Has a supporter who looks at Sims faults but not at any accomplishments, nor talks about Currin's accomplishments, or what she has done for her community.

Sims:

1. A Commissioner since 1994
2. Backed by quite a few suburban mayors, churches (including mine) and community leaders.
3. Changed vote on tax increase
4. Active in community outreach (current & past)

So we have a major crisis going on. Now we can give our money to everyone and everything for BS, here is an opportunity for us to do some good. I know many of us give to different orgs and causes but instead of buying that Big Mac meal or Starbucks please donate a min. of $5 bucks to help our family over in Haiti.

Now I am not from there, but I be live that no matter where you are or who you are (black, white, asian, greek) we all have ties to another and we are all family, so when family is down we have to help them out.
